Community Center

The Yates City Community Center was built in 1999 thru donations and fundraisers. Our community center is a place for all of our citizens to gather for group activites, social support, public information, and more. No matter what the reason, this center provides a perfect meeting spot for residents of all ages. The Elba-Salem Park District maintains and runs the Community Center. 

The Community Center is available to rent for events. Access to a full kitchen is included with rental. Almost any event can be held here, including baby showers, birthday parties, wedding receptions, and even weddings. Meetings of all types and celebration of life events are also booked here quite frequently. A smaller meeting room is also available for rent. Pricing (subject to change) is as follows: All rentals require a $100.00 deposit (refundable) Full day (6+ hours) @ $300.00, Half-Day (6 hours) @ $150.00, Hourly @ $30.00 per hour (minimum of 2 hr.). Small meeting room @ $30.00 per hour.
