Water service is expected to be restored around 4:00 p.m. today, August 24. Please keep in mind that this is an estimated timeframe and may change depending on the progress of the work. Once water service is restored, the Village will be under a Boil Order until further notice.
During the boil order, water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, or preparing food should be brought to a rolling boil for at least 5 minutes and allowed to cool before use. Bottled water may also be used for these purposes.
The Boil Order will remain in effect until the required testing has been completed and the Village receives confirmation that it may be lifted. We will provide an additional update when the Boil Order has been lifted.
